Irony will always be the most classic form of humor.
A Florida man who stepped out of his car alongside the infamous Alligator Alley to get closer to an alligator was bitten by a poisonous snake.
A Broward officer said the 29-year-old Boynton Beach man had his foot bitten by a water moccasin after he and his girlfriend stopped to see an alligator at mile marker 49.
Fortunately for him, officials from the Miami-Dade venom unit responded and an air rescue helicopter flew the man to the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Weston, Florida, where he was stabilized.
Let’s not forget why this section of the highway has this nickname.
