Mrs. Alfaro Piombo is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and concentrates her practice on workers’ compensation insurance defense, representing employers and carriers in all stages of litigation throughout the state. She focuses on building strong professional relationships while pursuing efficient and favorable resolutions.
Mrs. Alfaro Piombo earned her Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating with honors, and received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law, where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class with magna cum laude honors. During law school, she received several distinctions, including the Outstanding Service to the Law School Award and the CALI Book Award for Legal Writing.
While in law school, Mrs. Alfaro Piombo served as Vice President of the FIU Night Owls and as an Editor of the World Arbitration and Mediation Review. She also served as a Legal Intern with the FIU Law Practice.
Prior to practicing law, Mrs. Alfaro Piombo worked as an Administrator for a large urgent care corporation, where she gained firsthand experience managing workers’ compensation matters and coordinating with adjusters, nurse case managers, and employers.
