Wendy Ellen Knecht

Attorney

Ms. Knecht is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is also an active member of The Florida Bar’s Workers’ Compensation Section.

Ms. Knecht earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Florida and began her professional career as a registered nurse, practicing across multiple areas of hospital care, including the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Her extensive medical background provides her with a unique and valuable perspective in the practice of law.

While attending law school, Ms. Knecht served on the Moot Court Board as Competition Coordinator. Following her graduation from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, she initially practiced in the area of medical malpractice. In addition to her legal experience, she brings significant operational expertise from managing a dental practice for over ten years.

Ms. Knecht originally joined MKRS LAW in 1989, where she practiced for more than a decade. She rejoined the firm in 2017 and is proud to once again call MKRS her professional home.

Outside of the office, Ms. Knecht enjoys spending time with her four children and staying active through wakeboarding, skiing, and golf.
