Omar Perez, Jr.

Equity Partner

Omar Perez, Jr. was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1997 and focuses his practice on representing employers and insurance carriers in the defense of workers’ compensation claims. He joined MKRS Law’s Miami office in October 2000, became a Partner in 2016, and has been an integral member of the Firm for more than two decades.

Throughout his tenure, Mr. Perez, Jr. has successfully represented employers and carriers in nearly 2,500 workers’ compensation matters, earning a reputation for strategic advocacy and consistent results.

Mr. Perez, Jr. was recognized as a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers in 2009 and has continued to be recognized as a Florida Super Lawyer in the area of workers’ compensation. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami in 1994 and received his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University School of Law in 1997. While in law school, he was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a national honorary organization recognizing excellence in oral advocacy and legal writing.
